...Men of Honor He who pursues righteousness and love finds life, prosperity and honor. Proverbs 21:21 As men we spend a lot of time pursuing many things: power, life, happiness, recognition, importance, identity, success, women, toys, truth, wisdom, love, status, fame, etc. Some of these things are beneficial to pursue, while others bring us nothing but emptiness and vanity. However, even for those that are beneficial, many times we find that what we are looking for cannot be realized through direct means. Jesus gave an example of this in Luke 9:24: “For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it”. We want Men of Honor to be a place where we learn God’s values and ways, so that we can learn to understand what we should pursue and how we should conduct our pursuit. We want to be a place where men can seek the Lord together, to encourage and challenge one another, and to develop relationships that will honor God.
